Religion’s appetite vs. Grace’s appeal
A religion typically has an appetite of power and control over people. Satan often uses it to keep people out of the light and in the dark. Sometimes the power becomes so great it enslaves and eventually kills any hope of being transformed into the image of Christ. Religion teaches us to look at man’s interpretation of God.
The Grace of God is not like that. Grace is a fragrant breeze that frees us and transforms even the worst of sinner. It is like the smell of fresh baked bread that we just have to taste. Christ uses His grace to prepare a foundation for the good things He has planned for us to do. Grace teaches us how grateful we are that we have Christ’s redemption.
